Emelyn (Em) has served 26 years in the Oil & Gas and Energy industry. An Accounting and Finance professional by background, she spent her first 4 years in the marketing & trading environment exposed to various functions from supply planning and risk management.  She introduced the counterparty registration by exemption process during her stint there to increase efficiency in the registration process.  In her next 8 years, she was attached to a trading outfit, from analyst to business development to trading of identified Malaysian SME products to trading of biomass to the Phillipines, a pioneering effort in the general commodities.  The past 14 years of her career has been dedicated to organisational change and transformation work including strategic branding, hard process changes and culture change and transformation.  She has led business and culture transformation in a public listed company achieving a high-performance culture. She has since led various business transformation projects and led the key engagement and communications workstream in shifting company mindsets & behaviours uniting 11 operating units under one corporate banner.

 Driven by her passion for people, culture and change, Em is a certified PROSCI practitioner, HRDC trainer and Solutions Focused coach with 8 years of coaching experience. Her strength lies in facilitating top leaders including C-Suites in structured alignment sessions where she designs and facilitates sessions. She is able to adapt to any size audience facilitating sessions as small as 6 pax up to a 250 pax sized audience.  She is a trained by experience facilitator having facilitated more than 100 of these types of team alignment session all the while with high engagement and positive feedback.

Her clients attest to her ability to engage them in creating a safe space, targetted meaningful conversations in enabling the needed experiences that lead to sustainable shifts in mindsets and behaviour.  This is evident in the business performance results of the companies she has worked with and have since maintained success.

  • Strategising and developing a comprehensive change management plan for a Fortune 500 company in its bid to transform as an energy partner and solutions provider. The plan is made complex as the company is looking at enhancing its productivity and operating efficiency at the same time, hence shifting mindsets & behaviours becomes challenging.
  • Strategising and establishing the approach towards managing the company’s employees emotional roller coaster in demonstrating care and respect for the transformation.
  • Coaching for young executives in the Foundational Leadership programme in collaboration with a well-known Leadership Centre of a Fortune 500 Company.
